Road into and out narrow and lots of pot holes. Shell road in park but ok. Standard sites narrow for Big Rig, have to pay extra for upgrade. Bar and Grill onsite is ok food. Park is clean and well kept. Would not stay here again due to getting in and out roads don't make it easy to find. Don't take a wrong turn cause area don't look to friendly.
Great camp, roomy spots, level site, nice laundry. Only stayed 2 nights, Bad weather could not even go to the Quarter!
Gave 4 stars due to the most terrible road into the park as well as in the park. Good Sam discount, very nice restaurant above office, good food!
Stayed 2 nights, had a great time. Park was clean and modern with a great restaurant/ bar with Friday night live entertainment. Scary drive in from Interstate but it is worth the drive. Has shuttle to downtown. A little pricey but worth it.
Great park (gravel roads) on the water by a Marina. Nice restaurant and check-in/gift center! Everyone was very accommodating. Great amenities include roundtrip shuttle to French Quarter for $6 a day!!!!
Nice campground with easy access to New Orleans. Located in a very industrial area, the campground is attractively landscaped and well laid out. Roads and sites are all gravel. Sites are not overly tight. Only real complaint was WiFi that was quite sketchy for my stay.
Nice campground, friendly & very helpful staff, great amenities with a bar & restaurant on site. There was even live music on Friday night & a mini Mardi Gras parade on Saturday evening. The shuttle to the French Quarter ($6) is awesome, especially during Carnivale. The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is with all gravel roads & all gravel sites, it was VERY dusty; watering the gravel roads once in awhile would help a little. I would stay here again.
First time in NOLA. The park looked like it was under recovery as the website photos were not what we found. Nonetheless, though very dusty from unpaved roads, it was a clean park, landscaped between sites and quiet. The restaurant food was alright and the pool was clean. The shuttle into town was nice though had limited schedule. It's tucked away in an industrial part of town but that's hidden from view once in the park. If we ever went back to NOLA we would consider staying there again.
The GPS assured us we were headed in the right direction but the industrial park we were driving thru had us a bit unsure. Once we turned into the park we entered into a beautifully landscaped RV park. The staff were very friendly and we were lead to our site by a staff member in a golf cart; who even offered to help guide us during the parking of our fifth wheel. The camp sites were concrete and level, beautifully landscaped and the hook ups were good. We had dinner in the bar/cafe and thought the food was good and our waitress was wonderful. The weather did not permit us to take advantage of the pool but it appeared to be clean and well taken care of. There is a shuttle available to go to The French Quarter but we found the time schedule too restrictive. We would absolutely camp there again.
I am so glad we found this park! Great staff, friendly and very helpful. There's a nice pool and the park has some very nice spots on the water. Bathrooms were clean and park was nicely landscaped. The shuttle was wonderful! They dropped us off at the French Quarter and picked us up for a nominal round trip fee. Park is gated and I felt very safe there. Pull through spots....never unhooked the car. We will be back!
Very nice park with many amenities. There is a shuttle that runs to and from the French Quarters a couples times a day. There is also a good sized enclosed dog run.
When in town this is the park we will stay at.
