Staff is great and helpful guide to site overnight easy in easy out would definitely recommend
Nicest people running this Campground
First off all the employees have treated me with such kindness and professionalism. Gail who manages the monthly contacts is an absolute angel. Ike in facilities again nicest you could meet. Restrooms are clean, park is clean, and very quiet. Again, if you?re looking for a place to stay, call Travelers Campground .
Awful!
Overnight sites are awful! You are escorted to the site and parked in a straight line. You can?t leave until the person in front of you leaves. You can get out but you have to climb over a small hill.
Nice place
Convenient, all amenities, clean, well maintained... what more can you ask for? Arrived in the middle of the night needing a place to stay & hook up our camper. Found this place online, and able to park, hook up and do everything we needed. Good Sam discount applied to price, which basically covered tax.
Great Fl campground
This has large spots and nice owner/managers.
They only take cash or check, so have either on hand.
We have stayed twice and will stay again.
Animals and overnight sites
We saw this park on our way down and thought the shaded sites right off the highway looked nice and they have lots of animals around the property which I thought our kids would enjoy seeing. The shaded sites up front are for lengthy stays and the overnight sites are at the bottom of the hill; they are not shaded and not pull-thrus. The animals we saw were: 4 cows, 2 goats, 2 peacocks, 2 donkey, a painted horse, an ostrich and a dozen or so macaws, parrots and other tropical birds. There are no animal shows, its NOT a petting zoo and there are no gardens (the flower beds are fake). At roughly $40/nt we thought it was on the pricey side. We stay at a place in Orlando near the theme parks with several playgrounds, a petting zoo, lakefront sites with beach and boat rentals for only $19/nt. Compared to some of the state parks we stay in, this seemed overpriced and kitsch.
All kinds of animals are available to visit at the campground including: Donkeys, Horses, Cows, Parrots, Goats.
